Modern art by Peter Larsen

Art moderne de Peter Larsen

A good wine offers, to those who seek it, something that goes beyond simple pleasure of satisfying thirst. In a similar way, if you want to, my work can be more than simple objects of decoration.

The difference between a work of art and a marketing product is in the way it is made, as well as in the way it is consumed. When serving a wine, only to satisfy thirst, a wine is nothing but a drink.

To drink or collect wine does not reveal in itself all you can get out of it. The implicit story in a work, weather it is a wine or a work of art, is revealed as you discover, by reading a text, an implicit story in a novel.

In school you learn how to read, but not how to understand what's in the taste of a wine. You can buy a winegrower's wine, but you cannot buy his art, you can only learn it, at the cellar, a the domain and through the winegrower...
